COLOR PRACTICE APPROACH

COLOR IS TESTED, NOT GUESSED

ColorVista treats color as a practical design decision. The course starts with limited palettes, visible swatch roles, and small layout tests so learners can see how hue, saturation, value, and contrast affect readability before a design becomes too busy to adjust.

LIMITED

Practice begins with fewer swatches so dominant, supporting, accent, and neutral colors each have a clear job.

VISIBLE

Each palette is tested on simple cards, buttons, backgrounds, and text instead of staying as separate color samples.

ADJUSTABLE

Learners compare muted, bright, warm, and cool versions to understand what changes before adding more color.

LEARNER NOTES

I used to choose colors only because they looked nice together in a palette. Testing them on text and buttons showed me where the contrast was too weak.

The grayscale check made palette problems easier to see. I started noticing value differences instead of changing the hue again and
again.
